I have experience supporting media relations efforts across both industry and local markets, serving as a key point of contact for external communications and earned media outreach. My work has focused on building brand visibility and credibility through strategic storytelling and proactive outreach to media outlets.

At Excel Truck Group, these efforts contributed to more than doubling press placements in 2024, strengthening regional and industry visibility. At Speedy Glass, I executed PR initiatives and served as the primary media contact, driving similar growth in earned media and more than doubling press placements within the first year.

Speedy Glass Great Falls, MT - Project Hunger Coverage

I supported the Speedy Glass Project Hunger initiative in Great Falls by helping coordinate and amplify its outreach through strategic public relations efforts. This included developing and distributing press materials, supporting local media engagement, and promoting the initiative through digital channels to increase community awareness and participation. Through targeted outreach to local media outlets and coordinated storytelling efforts, the campaign successfully gained meaningful media coverage, helping elevate visibility for the cause and strengthen community involvement in addressing food insecurity.

Speedy Glass Milwaukie, OR - Grand Opening Article

I supported the launch of the Speedy Glass Milwaukie, OR location through coordinated go-to-market efforts designed to build local awareness and drive engagement. This included assisting with the development of press materials, supporting media outreach, and executing digital and social media campaigns to promote the opening. These efforts helped generate local visibility and supported a successful introduction of the new location to the community.

Auto Glass Week™ Announcement

I supported the development and promotion of a major milestone announcement highlighting Speedy Glass’s first apprenticeship program graduate advancing to compete in Auto Glass Week™ 2025. This included assisting with press release creation, coordinating media outreach, and amplifying the announcement across digital and social channels to maximize industry visibility. The campaign helped showcase the strength of the company’s apprenticeship program, reinforce its commitment to workforce development, and generate positive earned media attention within the auto glass industry.

Breakup Season in Alaska

I supported a public relations initiative with a local Alaska news station to position Speedy Glass as a trusted authority on safe driving and auto glass repair during the winter breakup season. This included developing key messaging, coordinating interview preparation, and contributing expert insights to help educate the public on seasonal road hazards and the importance of timely glass repair. The resulting media coverage helped establish Speedy Glass as a go-to local resource for driver safety information while strengthening brand credibility and community trust during a high-risk time of year.
